"A review of the reviews finds: Mixed Reviews. NOTE: There's no staff on-site at the Dorothy Motel you will have to drive a couple of blocks down the road to talk to the front desk staff for any issues. There is no elevator—so you will need to carry up your luggage to the second floor. The best rooms are on the second of the motel. They are described as bright, open rooms with a spacious bathroom and a big airy shower. The first floor rooms on the side of the building have low ceilings with the air vents blowing very close to the head of the beds, which cannot be turned off. The showers are small and seem to be a fall risk for anyone with mobility issues. "
"Banff’s first boutique motel with 42 rooms and was inspired by pioneering women of the Bow Valley."
