The Points Plan
"This was so lovely. It's way too hot to walk around the city of Cannes with a dog. Even the pavement was too hot after 11am for our dog's toes. Saint-Honorat offered a peaceful, shady retreat. - Catch the ferry early. - 18 euros per adult, dogs ride for free. - Takes about 15-20 minutes each way and the boat leaves/ returns every hour. - Bring plenty of water and make sure you dog does not drink too much salt water. Go for a walk, and take a swim. The entire island is dog friendly *except* the church and the restaurant. We took the 10am ferry over, walked for about 45 min and were ready to jump in the water. "
