ITALY: Discovering the North

Known as "a little Rome", Verona is full of Roman antiquities  and famous as the setting of the love story Romeo and Juliet. You may be surprised but the symbol of the city is the great Roman amphitheatre (Arena di Verona), located in the city's largest piazza, the Piazza Bra. Verona is the destination where art, history and culture combine to give you wonderful memories.

Verona is a wonderful city surrounded by hills in the nord of Italy. It is also called the city of love and romance. The city has many attractions that will amaze you. 

Beautiful historic city, sometimes called a little Rome because of its large amphitheater. Partially in ruins but hosts performances every summer! 

Romeo and Juliet definitely left their mark here: a romantic atmosphere can be senses throughout the whole city. 

Verona is only a 20 minute train from the southern side of Lake Garda and is a beautiful city to visit.
