"The Snake River is classified as a Class III (Grade 3) river. This is on the international scale, which is a Class I – Class V scale. This means this stretch of the river is an intermediate rating and is great for all rafters. Of course, the time of year affects the flow so the trip will be a bit (High June, July; low August, September) I’m not a thrill seeker and I thoroughly enjoyed our mid-July Classic Whitewater 16-18 person boat trip for what that’s worth! See, I’m even smiling in pic#2. For those wanting to just sit back and relax or those with younger rafters, they offer the Wilson Scenic Float with views of the Tetons. "
