But thankfully that didn’t stop me from a spring road trip to Texas, a few summer days in DC, two trips to Disney World, and lots of Tennessee day trips in between. In this weekend getaway adventure, you will find the top historic places and best food in the 12 South, West Hillsboro, & Music Row areas (I just added a couple in the Gulch/SoBro area too). Wear your walking shoes. There is lots to do, see, and  taste! You will get mapped out places  (along with addresses/phone numbers) for the best places to stay, historic sites to see, delicious places to eat, and extra fun stops along the way. I've been several times myself and would love to share the fun!!!

Graduate Nashville

Portraits of Minnie Pearl and Dolly Parton are just the beginning of the fun, quirky design choices in The Graduate. Everywhere you look is an aesthetic nod to the Grand Ole Opry and the musical history of Nashville. 

Amenities include a karaoke bar, Cross-Eyed Critters, and a coffee shop. The rooftop pool is adjoined to the White Limozeen restaurant and accessible for a fee. 

This is a pet friendly hotel. Let them know if you're bringing your furry friend along!

If you don't want to stay in the Gulch. Stay in the music row area. The have a gym, a rooftop bar, a laundry area, and an onsite restaurant. Valet parking is $55 per day. I would describe this as a boutique style hotel with playful guest rooms. The rooftop has a pool, a bar (called White Limozeen), and there are pops of pink everywhere because it's Dolly Parton themed. Super pretty!! This is an award winning hotel with lots of extra details.  

Fun-looking spot and close to the Vanderbilt campus.
