"Salt Beyoğlu is a cultural center located on Istiklal Street in Beyoğlu, Istanbul. It occupies a former apartment building dating from the 1850s, known as the Siniossoglou Apartment. The building originally functioned as a retail space on the ground floor with residences on the upper floors. It has gone through various transformations throughout history. Between 1997-2000, it served as the Ottoman Bank Archive and Research Centre. From 2001 to 2010, it housed the Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center. Finally, in 2011, it was repurposed and reopened as Salt Beyoğlu."
