What people say

"Ada Cingaljia is one of the busiest places in Belgrade on weekends, mostly when the weather is good. People visit this artificial lake for different reasons. There are enough options to keep anyone busy and have a nice day alone, with family or friends. Some main spots for outdoor activities in Ada are running, cycling, kayaking, waterboarding, and tennis. ---πŸ… ACTIVITIES --- πŸ’¦ KAYAKING You can go on a kayaking tour to explore the Sava River and Belgrade. You will pass under several bridges in the Sava River, between the Brankov bridge near the Kalamegdan fortress and Ada Ciganlja. It's a nice way to explore Belgrade while keeping yourself active. A couple of agencies are offering this tour, and I left the link to them in the link section of the blog post I wrote about Kayaking in Belgrade. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈRUNNING When is about running sessions, you can run a nice loop around the lake. There's a proper running lane waiting for you to enjoy it. 🚲 CYCLING For cycling sessions, you can also loop around the lake with your bicycle on the proper bike lane built there. Going cycling to explore other parts of the island is also possible. The cycling lanes are well-signalized, and there's an option to take a small boat to cross to New Belgrade, where there is another bike lake if you want to extend your activity. "
"Every summer, this lake is filled so the city can enjoy it as its beach. It has famous beach bars and aquatic sports to do. This is totally recommended and one of the things to do in Belgrade if you visit in the Summer."
