"Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea is a not-for-profit community aquarium that focuses on local creatures. Everything you see inside could also be found in the waters around Sidney. And who doesn't want to see a Giant Pacific Octopus? Their giftshop is similar, working dominantly local vendors/artisans to bring in a curated collections of items that showcase the region in all it's glory. Stop buy for a visit and then on your way out make sure to scoop up a couple items to remind you of the Salish Sea and help show your support for the aquarium. "
