Exploring the Best Hikes in Joshua Tree National Park

A girlfriend and I recently visited this desert of a place! It’s postcard perfect and we can tell you what TO do and what NOT to do. This is perfect for 2-3 days in town.

The Perfect Joshua Tree Guide

Hidden Valley Nature Trail

An easy trail that you can go explore for as long or as little as you'd like. Great for kids. See desert flowers, joshua trees, climb on the rocks and take insane photos! There is a parking lot right by the trailhead. Plan to arrive early in the day for better lighting, more moderate temperatures and more parking spots. 

the trail is pretty but sometimes crowded, because it’s short. I go here to crawl up through the CHASM. hard to find but very fun if you’re up for an adventure!!! cool view at the top. don’t do this if you’re claustrophobic or scared of the dark. 💀

Parking is located at Hidden Valley picnic area. This 1-mile (1.3 km) hike is approximately 1 hour long and is filled with lost cattlemen history. Great family picnic spot. 

This trail is a short 1-mile hike and is very popular so it tends to be a bit crowded. This is an easy hike and offers some amazing views! 

This is a unique path with amazing scenery. It’s less than a mile loop so perfect if you are short on time or don’t want to hike to far.
