🇮🇸 2-Day Itinerary for Iceland's Golden Circle. ✨ Must-See places. 💎 Hidden gems. 👉 Insider info for every stop. ⏰ How long to stay at each spot. 🚗 Drive times. 🏡 Best places to stay. 🍦Local food. 📸 Photography tips. ✈️ Getting from the Airport to Reykjavik, including Rental Cars. ☀️ The amount of daylight in Iceland varies greatly throughout the year, but it's possible to do this tour any time of year. ☀️ March to October: The ideal months to visit Iceland, offering sufficient daylight hours to complete this itinerary based on the timing provided. ❄️ November to February: It's possible to do this tour in the winter, all locations should be accessible. ⚠️ Caution: Trails at Helgufoss & hiking to Brúarfoss could be icy. ☀️ Sunrise will dictate a later start in the winter. This guide is a detailed 10 day itinerary with an interactive map showing over 80 locations that we visited on our road trip; months of preparation and planning went into the creation of this. The travel locations include destinations around the Ring Road, locations in the Snæfellsnes peninsula/ Snæfellsjökull National Park, as well as Landmannalauger in the Icelandic highlands. It includes recommended items to pack, cost of camper van and flights, locations and the time needed to travel between each location, how long we spent at each location (when relevant), links to restaurants we visited, and campsites that we stayed at throughout the trip. In the itinerary I've included things that I wish we had done or items that I wish we had brought along with us. This was a trip that my family and I loved and have so many beautiful memories as a result of having experienced it. We hope to share that same magic with you!
