What people say

"Built in the 13th century for the wealthy Rufolo family, Villa Rufolo is renowned for its rematkable architecture, beautiful gardens, and spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The villa's gardens are divided into several levels, each with its own unique features, including a Moorish-style garden, a classical garden with fountains and statues, and a stunning belvedere that offers panoramic views of the coast. The villa's interior features beautiful frescoes, mosaics, and other works of art, as well as a music room that has hosted performances by some of Italy's most famous composers. Today, Villa Rufolo is a popular tourist attraction and a venue for concerts and cultural events throughout the year. "
"The initial structure was built in the 13th century by the Rufolo family, a powerful maritime family from Ravello. The villa underwent extensive renovations in the 19th century. Today, it's a popular tourist destination known for its architectural beauty and stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. The gardens of Villa Rufolo are terraced and offer breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. The gardens are decorated with sculptures, fountains, and mosaics. The Belvedere is a terrace with a large balcony that offers panoramic views of the coastline. It is one of the most popular spots for visitors to take photos. "

"This is the thing to do in Ravello. It's an old villa with beautiful gardens to walk through. On certain nights of the week, they hold live musical performances. I think it cost around 15 euros to get in. We got to see an amazing pianist. You can visit the Ravello Arts Council website (provided in this place card) to find out what nights they have performances and to get tickets."
