"Travel back in time to the 1980s when you visit Yongma Land. This abandoned theme park ceased operations in 2011, but has been open since then to visitors for a small price of KRW10,000 (~S$11.07) as it is still one of the best Seoul Instagram spots. You can dress up in retro outfits to match the appearance of the rides, or go bold with modern looks that really highlight the difference in time.
Stay in the park till the sun goes down to capture whimsical shots in front of the carousel. Better yet, place your camera behind the puddle specially positioned near the carousel to achieve that coveted reflection shot.
Opening hours: 10am to 6pm (Mon – Sun)
Fees: KRW10,000 (~S$11.07)
PHOTO TIPS
It’s popular for photographers to come take wedding photos of couples in front of the carousel at night. It’s also great for creating spooky photos around Halloween.
TIP! Come in the afternoon so you get the perfect golden hour light."
