What people say

"This isn’t just any Mexican restaurant. It’s a good one. It has bold decor and “a small, consistent and homemade menu”, says Lúcia Pinto, a partner at Duello with her boyfriend Leonel Ribeiro. The starters include Aztec soups, shrimp aguachile dishes and generous nachos, with homemade totopos covered in meat, cheese, avocado, sour cream and pico de gallo. Then come the good quesadillas and, of course, the tacos. The classic Al Pastor, with pork and homemade pineapple pickles; the sautéed shrimp, with a great sauce made with the heads and “cooled with brandy”; the octopus with roasted pepper and chili; the Birria made with veal; and the huerta in a vegan version, all come together for the table. Bring a friend and order them all."

"If you have a craving for Mexican food, then search no more. The menu is simple but offers many delicious options such as nachos to share, Al pastor and shrimp tacos (& quesadillas), an extensive margarita list, and several dessert options. I tried the chips & beans appetizer, shrimp tacos & a Modelo (€20 total) and it made me very happy! 😊 (Good) Mexican food is sometimes hard to find in Portugal, but I’ve found my spot in Porto!"
