What people say

"St. Luke's earned it's title of The Bombed Out Church in the May Blitz of 1941. While the stone walls remained, much of the church was destroyed and left in ruins for roughly 60 years. It has now become a memorial for both World Wars, with a sculpture in the yard commemorating the historic Christmas Day ceasefire between German and British forces during WW1 and the church itself serving as a memorial for WW2. In addition to being a historic landmark for contemplation, the Bombed Out Church is a venue for weddings and cultural events. Check their website for upcoming events and hours. "
"Located in the heart of the city, the Bombed Out Church was as the name suggested. The open-air church now hosts events including film festivals, comedy shows, makers' markets, and even gin festivals."
