"The traditional way to access the Island was by boat. Nowadays, with Ngong Ping Village in mind, visitors have the additional option of using the MTR subway system to reach the outskirts of Lantau Island, then hopping onto the picturesque Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride.
Ngong Ping Cable Car connects Tung Chung and Ngong Ping on Lantau Island and is the longest bi-cable ropeway in Asia (5.7km ropeway).
It's a 25 minutes ride during which you'll be able to admire unique panoramic views of the island, Hong Kong International Airport as well as the Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau bridge.
