How do I get there?
🚇Lantau Island is just a 30-minute MTR ride (metro) from Central on Hong Kong Island. The Town of Tung Chung serves as a major hub for buses to Mui Wo, Tai O, Ngong Ping, Discovery Bay, and the beaches. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Central to Mui Wo or Discovery Bay. The MTR ride from downtown Hong Kong to Tung Chung Station usually takes up to 40 minutes, depending on where you begin your journey.
