Blue House

"Discover the iconic blue-tiled roof of Cheong Wa Dae, also known as the Blue House, the official residence of South Korean presidents. This historic complex, nestled against Bugaksan Mountain, showcases traditional Korean architecture. Explore the Main Office, State Guest House, and other historical buildings. Don't miss the Cheongwadae Sarangchae, which houses a fascinating collection of presidential gifts. When I visited the first time, we were gifted a free Cheong Wa Dae Mug which I still use for my morning coffee :D The insides of the Blue House were recently opened to the public and is very exciting to see. Opening times:  March-November 09:00-18:00 (Last admission 17:00) December-February 09:00-17:30 (Last admission 16:30) Fee Free (but you have to make a reservation online for your visit) Closest Subway Station:  Anguk Station Exit 5 (I recommend taking the Autonomous driving bus which stops in front of the entrance to the Blue House called Cheong Wa Dae A01 and has a stop right around the corner of Exit 5 Anguk Station) "

"Cheongwadae contains the former executive office and official residence of the President of South Korea. It was used from 1948-2022 and was opened to the public in May 2022. You can explore the main building and walk around the official residence. The park is also perfect for a lovely stroll"
