"In Paquera there are 2 really nice tours. You can watch Bioluminices - Plankton gets the walter lightend. So it is really amazing and breathtaking when the water is sparkling. It is just visible when it is dark and you can‘t see it on pictures because it is to dark. But it is a really nice experience when your arms and legs sparkle in the water. Its 35$ with the kajak and 40$ with the boat.
The other tour is for 60$ you can go to island Tortuga and snorkle there at private beaches. You also get snacks and water. We didn‘t made this tour but other people told us it was amazing.
We stayed at El Gecko - which offers both of the tours. It is a small familiar hotel with a really nice host. It is almost in the dschungel and there are a lot of gecos and frogs around. You can also here the monkeys in the forest. "
