"🫧 I’m a huge fan of sparkling water! So when I learned there was a spot in Iceland where carbonated water sprang from the ground, I had to visit! 📍 Located on a farm, Ölkelduvatn Mineral Spring is nothing more than a small gravel parking spot, with a sign explaining the water’s mineral content and a pipe sticking out of the ground with a faucet. 💦 The water is safe to drink and allegedly has healing properties. 😊 I found the water effervescent with a slight mineral taste! 👍 It’s free to visit. Bring your own water bottle. 🙏 Please leave a little something in the donation box for the kind farmer who allows tourists to visit this unique spot. 💰 COST: Free (leave a donation). 🚗 PARKING: Yes for 2 or 3 cars. ⏰ HOURS: Always open."
