"On our second day, we came here to explore these caves. If you decide to do the full one day tour, you’ll visit these caves the same day as Semuc Champey. They are very close to each other. Going without a tour worked out really well for us. We basically got a private tour, whereas if you go with the whole tour you’ll be exploring the caves with a much larger group, which apparently created a large bottleneck that kept some of my friends from experiencing it all. We, on the other hand, got to do it all. This tour is surprising, and not for the faint hearted! You enter the caves, filled with water, with nothing more than a lit candle. You then explore and swim through a long cave, climbing waterfalls, slipping through holes, and even jumping off a ledge into a pool at the end. ALL IN THE DARK! It was so exhilarating. Dont be scared though, we saw a group of older women doing it and having a great time (I think there’s some ladders if you don’t want to climb the waterfall, etc)"

"You walk inside the cave just with candles, it’s a very nice and fun thing to do. Also there are waterfalls to see and jump next to and you do river tubing. "
