There are no shops nor restaurants, however, it is known as THE beach braai/barbeque spot so bring your own food and drinks. "Grab your boerie and braai tongs because you can braai at this beach. Oudekraal is a lovely spot to swim, sunbathe and braai of course. There are also many scenic walks including the shipwreck walk, where you can see the decaying Antipolis that travelled all the way from Greece, and ended up washing ashore 44 years after sinking. Note that there is a small entry fee for Oudekraal beach. There is also no shop so make sure you have everything you need for your braai, including dustbin bags… leave no trace. "
