What people say

"An iconic pizzeria in Trastevere. Ivo a Trastevere is an old school pizzeria and restaurant in the Trastevere neighbourhood of Rome. The menu includes various traditional starters, and a vast range of Roman fried goods. In terms of pizzas, you have a fantastic selection of all the classics and other unique toppings, divided into tomato base or white base pizzas. They also offer all the roman classic pastas, and other traditional dishes, such as oxtail, tripe and lamb chops. They have a good selection of Italian wines and craft beers to pair with your food. This is a great spot to grab a quick pizza and suppli for a very honest price. They only take reservations via phone or you can order to takeaway through their website. "

"If you like quiet, organised and calm, this is not the place for you. Think more like chaos, filled with locals, fast no frills service, and exceptional pizza. Ivo has been serving the neighbourhood with traditional thin crust pizza since the 60's, and over the years has expanded their menu to include delicious pasta and meat dishes. Their carbonara is one of the best in Rome"

"Located in the heart of Trastevere, this pizzeria is known for its delicious Roman-style pizzas with thin, crispy crusts. The casual, lively atmosphere makes it a favorite among locals, and dishes like the Margherita and Amatriciana pizza are simple but flavorful. Pair it with a cold Peroni beer, and you’ve got an affordable, satisfying meal."
