It was awesome. You get to sleep amongst bookshelves. I felt like I was a character in a children's book.

My little bunk was roomy and cozy. I have heard others say it was noisy. That was no my experience. It was dead quiet when I was there. I loved the setting- especially at night when a few people would be lounging and reading while the others slept. The wifi was great. 

The bathrooms were adequate - large showers, hot water etc. I loved the weirdly photogenic breakfast. And the location was perfect. Easy to find and close to the Shinjuku train station.

This is a book lovers dream hostel! This place includes a library offering over 2,500 books!
