3 Amazing Days in Sydney

If you’re looking to relax on new beaches or do some hikes, this guide will provide you with all my favourite beaches in Sydney. For all the foodies, I’ve made sure to add in some cafes where you can enjoy a brunch as well as some dinner places to watch stunning sunsets from!

Must Visit Beaches in Sydney

The famous walk from Manly to Shelly Beach winds past the marine reserve where giant blue gropers swim close to shore - bring your snorkel and you might meet Bluey, the local celebrity fish.

Follow the coastal boardwalk around to Shelly Beach, where locals bring morning coffee and picnic blankets instead of paying for beachside cafes. Take the higher track back for stunning harbour views, 

Continue your adventure at the opposite end of the beach at Queenscliff where you'll find one of Manly's best-kept secrets: the Wormhole. This natural rock tunnel, carved by the sea, feels like stepping into another world. Time your visit for low tide, wear sturdy shoes, and follow the surfers' track near Queenscliff pool to find it.  

Also one of the most famous beaches in Sydney and worth visiting on a day trip even just to stroll through the adorable restaurants and markets in the suburb. Due to its fame and its smaller size it is almost always packed so be prepared for crowds.

Manly largest beach, Manly Beach is a wide, sandy beach, popular with surfers, swimmers and joggers. Truly embodies the laidback, athletic, beach-goer Australian vibe


Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade, known as The Corso, where you'll find an array of shops, cafes, and restaurants offering a diverse range of cuisines. 

Take the ferry across from Circular Quay for great views of the Sydney Harbour.  You can relax, shop, or enjoy a meal at Manly.
