What people say

"The Fairy Glen, nestled within the rolling hills of the Isle of Skye in Scotland, is a magical landscape straight out of a fairytale. This enchanting valley is characterized by its peculiar and whimsical rock formations, resembling miniature hills and mysterious stone circles, which evoke an otherworldly atmosphere. Visitors to the Fairy Glen can wander along winding paths that meander through the valley, discovering hidden nooks and crannies that seem to be straight out of folklore. Legend has it that the Fairy Glen is home to supernatural beings, adding to its mystical allure. Travelers can also climb to the top of Castle Ewen, a rocky outcrop that offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the nearby village of Uig. Whether seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature's wonders or simply marveling at the whimsical charm of the Fairy Glen, a visit to this enchanting destination promises a journey into the realm of fantasy and imagination."

"Although we've included the trail link to All Trails, we recommend showing up and strolling the area in whichever directions you want - there are so many unique views here. Ofcourse you'll have to make it to the main attraction which includes fairy circles that look mythical! Best to come super early or late as the ease of getting here means its a really busy spot. And you'll want some of these views to yourself (especially if you want photos). "

"There is a car park which charges £2 for 2 hours. You can spend a lot of time here wandering, but I would recommend keeping it to an hour. There is a path from the car park which goes through a grove of trees, and then emerges to look over the glen. You can also climb up to the rocky prominence known as Castle Ewan. I've included a link below which describes the stages of the walk in more detail."
