Designed by Sir James Thornhill and painted between 1707 and 1726, the Painted Hall spans over 3,700 square meters of stunning Baroque frescoes on both walls and ceilings. There are benches throughout the hall where you can lie back and gaze up at the awe-inspiring artwork, immersing yourself in the grandeur of the Baroque era. For me, this was one of the most unforgettable experiences in London. I still vividly recall the sense of awe that swept over me as I admired the paintings, losing myself in the beauty for what felt like an hour. It’s an experience that truly transports you into another time and place. Though entry requires a ticket, don't forget that students can enjoy a discount!"
