"If you love science and art, you've got to check this place out. The museum is located in the courtyard of an ancient Neapolitan hospital (Ospedale degli Incurabili), in a very suggestive area: a sixteenth-century building with baroque influences. And who doesn't love baroque?!?! Here you'll find ancient surgical tools, medical devices, portable pharmacies, microscopes, books and publications about anatomy and ancient theatre skills of the Neapolitan Medical School. The exhibition areas are dedicated to the great names of the medical Neapolitan tradition, like Moscati, Cotugno and Cirillo. The museum also adopted the Pharmacy of Incurabili (Farmacia degli Incurabili), dating back to the 1700s: a real masterpiece of Baroque-Rococo.
