"No trip to Bar Harbor is complete without visiting beautiful Acadia National Park. You will need a National Parks Pass - if you don't have one, you'll need to purchase one from a Ranger Station. We hiked Great Head Trail, which is an easy to moderate hike (about 2 miles, 250ft elevation gain). The hike features forest time, stunning cliff views, and a trip down to Sandy Beach (pack your swim suit!). "

"The best spot in Acadia! This trail (connected to a few others) gives ways to amazing views but sets out through an amazing Hobbit like forest. Can be a bit tough at times but kids 7+ can do this no problem!"
