🇰🇷 Seoul 7-Day All-Rounder Itinerary

Seoul City Wall Trail

Step back in time and explore the historic Hanyangdoseong, Seoul's ancient city wall. Built in 1396 to protect the Joseon Dynasty capital, this impressive fortification now offers stunning city views and a unique cultural experience.

My previous apartment used to be right around the corner. This is the perfect place for a nightly stroll with views of the illuminated city.

Walk from Hansung University Station Exit 4

Recommended Course
Hyehwamun Gate – Naksan Park – Cultural Plaza – Ehwa Village – Heunginjimun Gate

Required Time
1 hour (2,1 km)

Difficulty
Easy to Moderate 

With the option to start at Heunginjimun and hike to Hyehwamun, or vice versa, the trail takes about an hour overall, with multiple places you can stop by along the way like Ihwa Mural Village and Naksan Park

Spend the afternoon walking along the historic Seoul City Walls. The walls once protected the city and now offer scenic walking paths with stunning views of the city and mountains.
