"This fabulous museum is a free attraction in Edinburgh, and I personally think is a must visit! The Museum of Edinburgh gives an overview of the city’s history, and much can be learned from taking even 20 minutes to explore this attraction. While the museum itself is completely free to visit, if visitors would like to make a donation they can do so at the small gift shop on site. This shop also features some great items for those looking for something to bring back for loved ones from their visit to Edinburgh. "
"Located on the Canongate section of the Royal Mile, this often-overlooked museum is a treasure trove of Edinburgh’s rich history and heritage. Explore the museum's fascinating exhibits, which include artifacts, photographs, and stories about the city's past. Highlights include the National Covenant and Greyfriars Bobby's collar and bowl."
