"Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007, the Rideau Canal is a major tourist attraction in the city. Aside from its history, the canal offers a beautiful view, as well as several trails, tree-lined walkways and parks. An incredible place to take a stroll, watch the sunset and even take a ferry.
One of my favorite places in the city for its tranquility and view. From the canal, you can also see the border with the Province of Quebec!"
