"Explore the 200 acres of Battersea Park, a Victorian inner-city haven brimming with attractions.
Enjoy historic and contemporary gardens, like the Promontory Garden with its river views and the sub-tropical garden showcasing unusual plants and vibrant colors.
As you stroll, pause for reflection at the striking Peace Pagoda, adorned with four bronze statues of Buddha's life stages.
In the summer months, rent a boat to row or pedal on the scenic pond.
For children, there are two playgrounds: one for toddlers and an adventure playground for older kids.
Opening times: 8am until dusk"

"A lesser known park, Battersea Park has so much to offer. It contains large picnic areas, walking/running paths, bike rentals, boat rentals, bird watching, a small children's zoo, an adventure course, etc. It's also close to the newly opened Battersea Power Station, with shops and restaurants that tend to be less crowded than other shopping centers in London. "Beautiful riverside park. If you're arriving to it from Chelsea, I recommend crossing the Albert Bridge and then following the promenade path east to Battersea Power Station. "
