Autism Friendly/Quiet Guide to London
Intro
The key to surviving London as someone with autism or sensory issues is to know where the pockets of quiet and less people are, which is what I've attempted to lay out here. Other important note, is if its overwhelming on one street, you can usually go 1 or 2 streets over and its silent. Parks and bookshops are also excellent places of refuge, and thankfully London is littered with them. Noise cancelling headphones are also very helpful in situations you can't avoid people or noise.
You can also plan your days to start earlier when there is less people, have a break in the middle, and head out again in the evening as people start to thin out again.
A good rule of thumb is the further out you go, the quieter it is. So plan your trip with a balance of time in central London and time outside of central London.
