What people say

"Mihrimah Sultan Camii is a beautiful Ottoman mosque located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in the 16th century by the Ottoman architect Sinan and is considered one of his masterpieces. The mosque is named after Mihrimah Sultan, the daughter of the Ottoman sultan Süleyman the Magnificent and his wife Hürrem Sultan. The mosque is a large and imposing structure with a central dome and four minarets. The exterior of the mosque is decorated with intricate tilework and features a number of inscriptions from the Quran. The interior of the mosque is also beautifully decorated and features a number of stained glass windows."
"Named after Sultan Suleimans daughter, she did not like the mosque because the windows were too small. Hence why there’s another Mihrimah Sultan Mosque in Fatih. This Mosque is still stunning and a hidden gem in plain sight."
