Cruise Terminals in Auckland
There are two cruise terminals: Queens Wharf and Princes Wharf. Both terminals are within very close walking distance of each other and the city's key attractions.

The Closest Auckland Hotels to the Cruise Port Terminals
If you want to wake up with your cruise ship on your doorstep, these are the hotels closest to the cruise terminals for you to consider.
*Â Hilton Auckland
Located right on Princes Wharf, it is the closest hotel to this cruise terminal. If your cruise ships happens to dock at Queen's Wharf it's a really short and flat walk so this is an excellent choice. It also has an amazing pool and a unique ship-like shape.
* InterContinental Auckland
At 1 Queen Street. the InterContinental is right across the road from both terminals. It's a brand-new hotel with excellent views. If you like a club/executive lounge, this is a great choice.
* M Social Hotel Auckland
The M Social Hotel is a comtemporary hotel with an excellent location across the road from the port.
* Mövenpick Hotel Auckland
The Mövenpick is one block from the cruise port and has a fabulous rooftop bar and restaurant.
* The Hotel Britomart
This design boutique hotel is right in the Britomart area and walking distance to the port.

These hotels are also within walking distance to the port terminals, but might require walking a couple of blocks etc.Â

These hotels are within walking distance to the cruise terminals. However, a short taxi ride might be more convenient.

The QT is a design-focused hotel with a rooftop bar. It's close to all the restaurants and bars, but just slightly back from the action so it's not too noisy.

These are some of the options if you need extra space or are travelling with a larger family or group.

There are lots of options at the Pullman. They have excellent facilities and you'll be close to the port.
* Avani Auckland Metropolis Residences
These are in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and bars. The indoor pool is great as are some of the views from the higher floors.Â

These apartments are centraly located and there are options for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.
Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland
You can find one-bedroom apartments at The Heritage. This is a great central option if you're looking for resort like facilities. There is an indoor pool and spa, plus an outdoor rooftop pool and spa. They also have tennis courts and a gym. Another option is to check out Airbnb, as some of the apartments are listed on here.
Airport Hotel
If you're flying into Auckland on a late flight, it might be more convenient to stay at the airport for the night. The Novotel is the only hotel at the airport that is within the terminal.
