Explore Notre Dame Cathedral (though you can no longer go inside):

Head to Notre Dame Cathedral and marvel at its stunning Gothic architecture. Sadly, after the awful fire at Notre Dame in April 2019, the Cathedral is closed to visitors. Notre Dame is slated to reopen to visitors in 2024. I still recommend visiting this place cause it is one of the most beautiful and recognizable cathedrals in the world as well as a masterpiece of world architecture.

Walk along the Seine River and hop on a Seine Cruise:

No visit to Paris is complete without taking a stroll along one of its many bridges. The riverbanks often host various cultural events, art exhibitions, and book markets. Head to Pont Neuf, the oldest surviving bridge across the Seine River.

Pont Neuf
@marina_tinker
Pont Neuf, translating to "New Bridge" in French, is the oldest standing bridge across the River Seine in Paris, France. Despite its name, it's ironically the newest of the old bridges in Paris, as it was completed in 1607 during the reign of King Henry IV. The bridge is characterized by its unique design. It comprises two spans meeting on the Île de la Cité, with a central island hosting a small square. The bridge is embellished with 384 mascarons (ornamental masks) and numerous stone-carved decorations. The bridge features numerous statues, notably those of King Henry IV on horseback, symbolizing the bridge's royal association and the king's reign. Over the centuries, Pont Neuf has become a gathering spot for both locals and tourists. It's a place to enjoy street performers, artists, and the lively atmosphere of the Seine. The bridge, with its charming lights and views, is often associated with romance. Address: 75001 Paris, France You can visit any time for free Getting there: LINE 7 Métro station Pont-Neuf LINE 4 Métro station Châtelet Tip: Cool spot for instagram photos during the sunset.
