Nara (Japan) - perfect one day itinerary
Start your day by travelling to Nara from Osaka or Kyoto. You can take a guided tour or travel by metro.
From Osaka/Kyoto: Kyoto and Nara Guided Bus Tour:
You'll arrive at one of these two stations - from there you can take the bus to park or go by foot. Also you can grab Starbucks from station!
Start by visiting Kōfuku-ji temple. It's a historically significant temple in Nara, Japan, is renowned for its stunning five-story pagoda and ancient wooden structures. Established in 710 AD, it serves as a testament to the architectural and cultural legacy of the Nara period, attracting visitors with its serene beauty and rich heritage.
After that go straight to the main Nara park. It's free and massive - buy food for animals at the beggining of the park in advance, because as you go deeper no shops would be found.
You can go any direction as you like, but there are few temples in the park worth visiting
After a good walk and lots of Bembi's it's time to eat. No matter are you vegetarian or not, I recommend you to visit this place. Have cash with you and enjoy unbelievable good food experience.
When you've had your fill, head to famouse Higashimuki street. You can grab a coffe here or simply enjoy souvenirs shopping.
After that just come back to the station you started.
