Offering a delicious blend of French bistronomic cuisine, with flavorful and generous homemade dishes that are a treat. Conveniently located next to the Patek Philippe Museum and Plainpalais Square (the largest square in Switzerland!). Le Jardin de Pinchat
@travelby.me
The Jardin de Pinchat is a destination worth visiting. I go there regularly and always experience the same pleasure. While it may be a 'restaurant in a tennis club,' the quality of the dishes is beyond question. It's really good. Warm and pleasant welcome, professional service, a diverse and seasonal menu with fresh and well-cooked dishes. The setting is pleasant and calm, without disturbances, and features a lovely terrace. The Gambas tartare was fresh and delicious as a starter, and I couldn't resist trying the beef tataki, which was also excellent. The pecorino risotto is a sure bet for those who enjoy it. Prices are somewhat high, but it's advisable to make a reservation through The Fork, which offers a 50% discount. A definite gem in Geneva.

Restaurant Les Fraisiers
@travelby.me
If you enjoy dishes that stand out from the ordinary, head to Les Frasiers. Here, you won't find the typical steak-frites or stale perch fillets. On the contrary, they offer a very rare cut of beef, known as the 'araignée' or 'butcher's cut,' which was traditionally kept secret by the butchers themselves. It's prepared to perfection. They also have a wild boar cheek hamburger, an incredible shrimp risotto, French toast, and more... all served with a big smile!

Yvette de Marseille
@travelby.me
Named after the mechanic who once owned this former garage, this funky bar tucked away in the residential Eaux-Vives district is hard to find but well-worth seeking out. Laid-back and friendly, it’s beloved by the locals for its retro atmosphere, great outdoor terrace and menu of Mediterranean-style tapas.

Restaurant Les Armures
@packdsuitcase
Have a delicious fondue dinner at Les Armures, in Old Town. It isn't a budget meal, per se, but after a cost-efficient day, it's well-worth the splurge. Don't miss trying the Moitié-Moitié fondue— a mix of Gruyère and Vacherin cheeses. Drink it with a crisp white Chasselas wine that's local to the region. (Reservations are a must.)
