North Cove Marina
@melinnewyork
This marina always makes me think of that one scene in Wolf of Wall Street. Grab a drink or a bite or just enjoy the views.

Anable Basin Sailing Bar & Grill
@melinnewyork
A much more cost-effective waterfront situation. You have to walk through industrial lots to get there - don’t worry you’re not lost. Cash only - they have an ATM.

Strong Rope Brewery Red Hook
@melinnewyork
My absolute favorite brewery in New York. Red Hook is tough to access by subway - take the NYC ferry for a spin (download the NYC Ferry app for schedules & tickets).

Brooklyn Crab
@melinnewyork
Another Red Hook option, this seafood joint is multi-level and more high key.

Island Oyster
@melinnewyork
I'll take any reason to go to Governor's Island. Oysters with this view is a very good reason.

Pier 17
@melinnewyork
Pier 17 re-opened in 2018 and has since been a bustling spot to grab a drink or bite and enjoy the breeze with prime views of the Brooklyn Bridge. The Rooftop at Pier 17 hosts a summer concert series.

Wall Street Ferry Pier 11
@melinnewyork
Main terminal for NYC Ferry. Download the app and take a ride on the ferry. I recommend taking a ride to Dumbo, North Williamsburg, Governors Island, or Red Hook.

Staten Island Ferry
@melinnewyork
Free things are hard to come by in New York, nevermind free boat rides. The ferry will take you past Ellis Island and The Statue of LibertyThere's not much to do on actual Staten Island - you're just in it for the free round trip ride.
