🚆 Transportation for Tokyo -> Kamakura
📍From Tokyo: The easiest way to get to Kamakura and Enoshima is via the JR Yokosuka Line from Tokyo Station or the Shonan-Shinjuku Line from Shinjuku Station. You can also use the Odakyu Line for Enoshima, departing from Shinjuku.

Temples, museum, bamboo forest and tea ceremony await for you, take some time to slow down and explore the streets and shop for artisanal souvenirs and snacks. Here my personal favorite activities.
Hōkoku-ji, the "Bamboo Temple," is a serene Zen temple known for its lush bamboo grove. As my visit the general admission fee to the temple is 300 yen , with an additional fee of 600 yen if you wish to participate in a traditional tea ceremony while enjoying the bamboo scenery, which I highly recommend.
The Kamakura Bunkakan Tsurugaoka Museum offers a glimpse into the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Kamakura. Located not far from the famous Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the museum houses an impressive collection of Japanese and East Asian art, including sculptures, paintings, and historical artifacts, making it a must-visit for art and history enthusiasts

⛩️ Head to Kamakura Hasedera in the morning to enjoy some quiet time at the temple and stop by the cutest ceramic shop right after only a street away.
I recommend going to Hasedera first thing in the morning before your breakfast as it opens early at 8:30, you'll be able to enjoy the temple without any crowed.
You must stop at MAISON CACAO! their must-try items include decadent dorayaki and perfectly balanced matcha lattes.
