Liquor? I barely know her!
Killer Whale Sex Club
@kayladeitz
Club vibes with dark lighting and great music. Killer has it all. Nuddies on the wall, stellar staff, intimate couch seating/ high tops/ bar top/ standing room, and AMAZING drinks with accoutrements. Highly recommend making a reservation.

Our wedding afterparty was held there 🪩 yes we played Nickleback, yes we danced on the bar.
Disco Dragon
@kayladeitz
They can do no wrong! Disco is owned by the supreme minds behind Killer Whale Sex Club and it is such a vibe. Disco “ball” maniquine hanging from the ceiling, insane Asian-fusion food, and drinks you never have heard of before (many featuring sake). The Ube Milk punch is my fave! Definitely a great place to start off your night in downtown PHX.

FYPM
@kayladeitz
Same owners as Disco Dragon and Killer Whale! More of a EDM vibe with plush, intimate seating, huge screen playing music videos, BOMB food, and even better drinks. You enter through Disco Dragon and they will walk you back to FYMP (Fuck you, pay me)!

Pretty Penny
@kayladeitz
Again, same owners as the above bars. The monopoly on the Roosevelt bar seen goes HARD with these guys. Pretty Penny is more upscale dining. Think tomahawk steak, seafood tower, caviar… plus drinks that will have you thinking “is this a salad or an alcoholic beverage?” And then you order 4 more. The drink combinations coming out of this crew is so creative. You won’t find these concoctions at any old bar.

Arizona Wilderness DTPHX
@kayladeitz
Wilderness is huge with a bunch of communal seating. Mostly beer and ciders but they also have a cocktail menu. The food is soooo good. Think bar food, but elevated (duck fat fries, insane specialty burgers, homemade dipping sauces). Great for day drinking, a pregame, or just a casual dinner out!

Luckys Indoor Outdoor
@kayladeitz
Luckys is bumpin on the weekends. Classic bar inside with pool and ski ball. Big outdoor area with corn hole, hanging pod seats, picnic tables, outdoor bar, and food truck. They also have live music on occasion.

Take me out!
Federal Pizza
@kayladeitz
My wife and my favorite place. Casual date night with the best WAP (wings and pizza), so good it was in my vows that I would never say no to a night out here. Full bar, (gay) friendly staff, delicious food, and the BEST ranch.

Valentine
@kayladeitz
Cute coffe shop/ antique store with fancy breakfast, cocktails, and wine. A bit pricey but it is perfect for a casual brunch with higher end food. Plus, it’s fun to walk through the antique store while you’re there.

Bacanora PHX
@kayladeitz
Reaervations are a must as this is a small and intimate venue. I’ve only been here once but it was a wonderful experience. Authentic Mexican quisine with a twist. They have a tomahawk special but only have a set number of plates available, get in while you can!

Restaurant Progress
@kayladeitz
Fine dining menu with a more casual vibe, Progress is the place you leave and say “damn.. that was so f**king good”. They have a fun option to “leave it to the kitchen” for $75 which gets you a chef selected 5 courses from their menu. All I have to say is their friend green tomato dish and their Spanish octopus had me licking the plate! Wine selection is delish as well.

Different Pointe of View
@kayladeitz
Fancy date night with a stunning view of the city at Different Pointe of View. Reservation is needed and it is somewhere you get nice and dressed up to go. Service is very high class and I had the BEST lobster bisque of my life there. The menu is seasonal so you can check it out online before going!
