Must-Eat Places in Montreal, Canada

Must-Eat Places in Montreal, Canada

Charmaine
Montréal is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. There is a lot of great food in Montreal so here are some of my favourites. Although Quebec is a francophone province, most people in Montreal are bilingual so you will have no trouble managing English in shops and restaurants. Enjoy and bon appétit! *If you found my list helpful, feel free to leave a tip! Thank you!*

Poutine Restaurants

Poutine is a dish of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. It emerged in Quebec, in the late 1950s in the Centre-du-Québec region, though its exact origins are uncertain and there are several competing claims regarding its invention. (Wikipedia)

If you are in Quebec, you have to try a poutine! A good one should have squeaky cheese curds.
