Top 6 breakfast spots in Warsaw
Top 6 breakfast spots in Warsaw
Beata from Warsaw
Varsovians love to eat breakfast outside, so the city has been booming in this respect for several years. Many places offer a choice of breakfast, but you can often pay a lot and not be satisfied. I have tested many places myself and I am sharing with you those to which I really like to come back. I hope that your mornings in Warsaw will be pleasant and, above all, very tasty!

Cheese is what the dishes here have in common. Really good cheese. It’s my favourite place for a savoury breakfast like Croque Monsieur, croque with goat cheese or with aubergine, onion confit and ementaler. In the evening you can enjoy wine and raclette or fondue. The place is always crowded so it’s good to make a reservation.

Café "Waszyngton"
@beata
Very pretty place with chill atmosphere, good breakfasts and speciality coffee. You can also find here a choice of cakes and pastries.
You can eat breakfast here until the evening. My favorite is Eggslut which is scrambled eggs on brioche with crispy bacon and wasabi mayonnaise. And if you prefer sweet breakfasts, I recommend Dutch Baby, a fluffy omelette with jam.
The friendly staff will be happy to recommend you drip coffee or other alternative brewing methods. One note - Waszyngton does not have wifi available to customers.

Kolonia Ochota
@beata
This is one of the coolest spots for summer breakfast. A beautiful glazed patio with its own mini beach or a wooden terrace with tables hidden in the shade of trees is a great place for a long celebration of coffee and one of the delicious toasts or pancakes.
The interior is available all year long, but the outdoor space is what makes Kolonia Ochota so special.
Breakfast is served until 14:00 on weekdays and all day on weekends. Vege and vegan options available. Recently, the restaurant offers breakfast sets with a wide selection of ingredients for PLN 32. You can also choose from several types of egg poche toast. My favorite is pancakes with apple - a very Polish breakfast.

The Cool Cat TR
@beata
A very cool place in a beautiful part of Śródmieście Północne (North Center). On weekends you may have to wait for a table, but it's definitely worth it. In the summer, tables outside in a green, secluded corner are especially pleasant. Cool Cat TR offers very tasty, warm breakfasts, such as shakshuka, oatmeal, eggs of your choice (prices of all dishes below PLN 30), and on weekends it serves amazing sets - Asian, Mexican or Mediterranean (PLN 37 each).

Być Może
@beata
A place smelling of fresh bread at the vibrant Plac Unii. You can buy pastries, bread and fresh dairy products here, but you can also sit and enjoy a delicious breakfast on the spot. In summer, you have to expect a queue to the small restaurant garden. The interior is also very pleasant - high, typical of a pre-war tenement house, but also without overly fancy atmosphere.
My favorites are the different versions of Egg Benedict on a butter bun. Each one is worth trying, because thanks to different additions it tastes different.

Bułkę przez Bibułkę.
@beata
This beautiful place is known primarily for its delicious bagels rich in additives. You will also eat here many other breakfast classics in a delicious edition - eggs, omelettes, sandwiches. All breakfasts cost less than PLN 30, which is rare in Warsaw. You can also choose a small coffee for breakfast for only PLN 6. You don't have to hurry - breakfasts are served here all day long.
In addition to the food, it is also worth mentioning the very beautiful decor and location in one of the nicest parts of Warsaw, close to Plac 3 Krzyży.
