When you’re coming to Dubai for the first time it can be so overwhelming

Whtere it’s the amount of restaurant choices, the budget you want to use the most out of, and the insane amount of attractions around you.

So let’s make it a little more organized for you, but first some ground rules:

Rule number 1:

You can spend any amount of money in Dubai, 💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸

Prople here live off of 2,000Aed a month, and for others 2,000,000 a day is not enough.

The first thing you need to have here is the mindset of seeing this as an inspiration, knowing that you can’t do and get everything. But you can have the most incredible time with what you have.

Rule number 2:

All the people who live here came to create a better life for themselves, and so can YOU.

Be genuinely curious and thoughtful towards others for the best experience here.

Make sure you are open to meet new people and try new experiences. There are so many cultures and languages around here!

And all the really cool things around here, you can only get access from talking to the right people 👯‍♀️

Rule number 3:

Dubai is super strict and everything is noticed,

That’s why you can feel free to leave your laptop or phone on the table and know that it will wait for you when you get back 💻

So take a minute and see exactly what that means,

• Wear anything you want but never at the expense of others,

• Don’t throw things on the ground

• Don’t get near anything that is considered a drug

Which definitely makes Dubai my personal favorite when it comes to safety for women!

If something is even to happen to you, just go to the nearest gard, there is someone everywhere and they will do everything to help you out ❤️

Now, for the fun part :

Money hacks!

We all want the Dubai lifestyle you see on social media, so how can you get it as a 20 year old with out the big budget?

THE MOST expensive thing is actually alcohol, but if you’re a woman a lot of the places will have ladies night. Where you can get free drinks or a deal on the meal!

But anyway being smart around your drinking will go a long way,

The second thing Dubai is known for is it’s lavish events.

But do you actually get into them?

Well, it depends on who you are, but if you are like me

Knowing the right people is the free way in. So always look around, start conversations, meet new people and ask questions.

And always check if the place you’re going to has a ladies night, or a brunch deal! It can save you so much money ! 👯‍♀️💸

Photo locations! 📸

Almost every restaurant and hotel will have a place for pictures

But if you still want the top ones, let’s get started

A location that’s also a full activity:

Dubai Marina Walk

In the marina walk you’ll have crazy amount of places that are just right for pictures

But most importantly you’ll have people to help you out with it if you’re alone, it’s also a really good way to bond with people so I definitely recommend offering a hand for others

My personal favorite for evening walks:

Jumeirah Beach Residence

The JBR walk is right next to the marina , I usually take walks of just go out for dinner

It is the perfect place for ice cream walks and pictures with Ain Dubai (the Dubai eye)

From there you can easily continue to Blue Waters Island

Which is where the Dubai eye is.

The way to the island from JBR is a bridge that has some amazing views to the marina and the palm

The Island itself mostly offers restaurants and views as the Dubai eye isn’t working now

You can find there really nice places to snack or full on meals, and at night even parties

Downtown Dubai

This is the place you’ve seen all over social media , with the biggest building in the world and gorgeous urban views it’s hard to know where to start

Photo locations with the Burj

This is my personal favorite, it’s right under the burj, 10 minutes walk from the Dubai mall with unique flowers

To get there you need to walk a little so make sure the weather is good when you do ☀️

This is a recent location I found, right across from the Dubai mall, there’s a times out market

once you get down you can find this location that is super cute if you are a little camera-shy and don’t know what to do

Attractions 💸

The aquarium in the Dubai mall

Is completely FREE to watch from the outside, right next to a candy store (Which you shouldn’t buy in but buy candy for half the price in the lower floor)

Personally I wouldn’t recommend getting inside and paying extra for it, the free view from the outside is more appealing. Save your money for better experiences 🦆

Top of burj khalifa

It’s a really cool experience for kids, but being honest I don’t think it’s worth the price. Yes the view is cool but you don’t see the burj which is the actual view 😂

instead you should try the next attraction we’ll talk about

The sky view slide

With half the price of the burj attraction, you get this insane view, with super cool photo locations

And a glass floor for all the selfies you can take 😂

I would definitely recommend this one over the others 💸

The palm

The Palm - Jumeirah

This is the man made island that you’ve probably heard of, to be completely honest there’s no a lot to do there

But if you’re looking for a beach day going in to one of the hotels there is pretty cool

The aura pool that has the best views is also there and is super unique, you just need to book in advance

there’s a train crossing the entire palm that can be cool, but in busy hours it’s full and I personally prefer a taxi

There is a food center that has cool fountain shows, called the pointe

It’s really nice for slow evenings

And of course the Atlantis water park which is crazy 🔥 even for 20 year olds it’s just insane

But speaking of man made islands

The World Islands

Taking a day trip for a branch there can be a little expensive but definitely worth it 💸

You get there with a 15 minute boat ride, and instantly you are on a tropical island

It’s so pretty and unique 🔥

Let’s sum up

Dubai has everything, and whether you are coming alone in your 20’s to visiting with the whole family in your 60’s you’ll find what to do here

Be very aware of your money and how you spend it and at the same time, forget about being careful with your things. You will always get them back ✨
