Day 1 (Arrival):

Start the day with a visit to the Chapultepec Castle, make sure to check the operating hours as depending on your arrival time to Mexico City the museum can be closed. As an alternative you can explore the Chapultepec Park which is the largest city park in Latin America.

Tickets for the castle can only be purchased on site 90 pesos or about $4 USD per person.

Visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, which is located in the artist's former home and includes a collection of her paintings and personal artifacts. Make sure to buy your tickets ahead of your visit as they cannot be purchased on location.
