Cusco, Peru: The Best Laptop-Friendly Cafes

Molly Knox
Cusco, Peru - a charming city that was once the capital of the Inca Empire and is now filled with history, picturesque streets, and delicious cafes. After spending a month in Cusco cafe hopping and remote working, here's a list of my favorite cafes for coffee, food, and work. Whether you are a digital nomad, a traveler who combines work with exploration, or simply on a stopover to acclimate to the altitude, check out one or all of these cafes and let me know if you try any of them!

A hidden gem in Cusco! I stumbled upon it walking around one day and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The cafe has an upstairs with more tables and seating. It's very chic and the food is delicious.

Organika Bakery & Coffee
@mollyyknoxx
I loved this bakery! Their entire breakfast/lunch menu is delicious and the coffee and juices are also delightful. This cafe is a good working spot either early morning or later in the afternoon as it tends to become crowded in the mid-morning (9-11 am).

Café Dwasi Peruvian Coffee

A small cafe with a banging breakfast and coffee. You can work for an hour or two here, but it does tend to be crowded in the morning and early afternoon.

Qura

A common place people go to work and enjoy coffee and food, so get there early. Try the shakshuka!

Three Monkeys Coffee Cusco
@mollyyknoxx
Three Monkeys is basically a coffee cart, but after you order from the cart, you walk into a courtyard full of tables and chairs where you can set up shop for a couple of hours. The coffee is delicious and the cafe vibe is chill.

Green Point Vegan Restaurant
@mollyyknoxx
A vegan/vegetarian restaurant that makes its own kombucha. Their pastries and food are all-around tasty! This is a good spot to work from the morning to the afternoon, but it does get crowded in the late afternoon/evening.

Crepería & Backpacker La Bo'M
@mollyyknoxx
While this is a backpacker hostel, the top floor is also a creperie and cafe. They serve sweet and savory crepes and the coffee and juices are a perfect pick-me-up! I recommend going a little before sunset and sitting outside on the balcony for a nice view.

L'atelier Café Concept
@mollyyknoxx
One of my favorite cafes in Cusco! The cafe is small and seating is limited, so you can only work here for an hour if you choose. But whether you're working or exploring the San Blas neighborhood, this cafe is a must!
