💬 Language : Hungarian

💸Currency: Forint (HUF)

Card 💳 or cash 💵: Most places accept credit cards (also Revolut), but at some smaller businesses or markets you will need cash, so be prepared. There are many ATMs and money exchanges

✈️ Airport: Budapest Airport (BUD)

📅 Best time to visit: all year long, although it can be more crowded during summer because of the festival season

☕ Average cappuccino price: $2,5

🤑 Tipping: When eating out, leaving a 10% tip is usual. However, many bills already include a service fee 

How to travel to Budapest? 

If you come by plane, you will arrive at Budapest airport, which is around 35-40 min from the city center by 100E bus (1500 HUF, one way). You can also choose a taxi, there are many waiting outside of the airport.
