I’d recommend trying their Mussels “Ao Bolhão Pato”. They go perfect with a “Vinho Verde”

Best of the Best:

There's so much good food in Porto, but these places stole my heart completely and can not be missed. Each of these earned a 10/10 in my book for food, service, and atmosphere.

Brasão Coliseu
@thetravelingballerina
Try to get a reservation in advance or get there early, this place fills up quickly! Arguably one of the best Francesinhas in town (I probably could have split the whole one). Good beer and sangria overflowing with beautiful fruit is a bonus. Keep in mind they have another location "Brasão Aliados" which you will definitely need a reservation for.

Gazela

I'd gatekeep this place, but it deserves to be recognized. The "Porto Hot Dog" is a slightly spicy, divine creation I'm now constantly craving.

Capela Incomum
@thetravelingballerina
Technically a bar, but hey they've got tapas. The vibes are immaculate, literally, since it's been converted from a chapel into this absolute foodie gem.

Tapabento S.Bento

Another that you should try to make a reservation for. Everything is divine, just make sure you leave room for dessert!

Manteigaria
@thetravelingballerina
Yes, it's a chain, but they were the best Pasteis de Nata I had in Porto, and came in a very close second to the ones sold by Pasteis de Belem in Lisbon. Always hot and perfectly crispy, these are a must try at any time of day.
