This city is in my top 3 favorite city in Europe!

The best way to discover the city, is to walk! There are many cute streets and coffee shops to stop by.

3-4 days is perfect to see most of the city.

Things to absolutely see:

Nyhavn
@marinerose
THE spot to see when visiting Copenhagen. It's the picture you see everywhere when looking for Copenhagen pictures. It's a very cute harbor with restaurants along. Try to go the earliest in the morning to avoid the crowd, especially during weekends.

Make sure to go around 11:30-12am to see the guard spectacle.

Frederik's Church

The biggest dome of the Scandinavian, impressive from the outside and even more inside.

The Little Mermaid

Don’t expect something exceptional, the statue is very small but this is one of the emblem of Copenhagen.

Where to stroll:

Takkelloftvej
@marinerose
It’s a walk along the river on the other side (side of the Opera). There are usually less people (well probably way more during spring and summer) but anyway it’s a nice walk to see another part of the city. You can stop at Hard to have a snack and a good coffee!

Where to eat:

Copenhagen is not a cheap city regarding food.

The Smorrebrod is their specialty, it’s a sandwich, usually with herring but it can be other fish or even meat. In restaurant you may take 2 or 3 to be fully rasasier so the bill may go up quite fast.

But you can find smorrebrods in food market such as:

TorvehallerneKBH
@marinerose
Try Hallernes corner for good smorrebrods! Prices are ok

If your wallet allows it, the 5th best restaurant in the world is in Copenhagen. I haven’t been there so I cannot tell you much more about it but the name is the Alchemist in Refshaleoen neighborhood.

Other good restaurants we tried:

Restaurant Kronborg
@marinerose
Super good restaurant. It's an old restaurant of Copenhagen, the smorrebrods are delicious.
