HANOI

HUE
Imperial City, a UNESCO Heritage Site, is the number one thing you must do while in Hue. During its time, between the 12th and 20th centuries, it saw much history, specifically during the Nguyen Dynasty when Hue served as the capital of Vietnam.
The Mausoleum of Minh Mang is also a tomb, but, with a very different style and feel than Emperor Khai Dinh’s. The mausoleum is of traditional Vietnamese architecture, similar to what you may see at the Imperial City, with stone structures, decorative archways and tiled roofs.
The Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh is the final resting place erected for the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Known to be one of Hue’s most lavish and impressive tombs, it showcases influence from traditional Vietnamese and Gothic European architecture.
DA NANG
My Khe Beach is a busy beach full of locals and tourists due to its beauty and amenities. From parasailing to surfing to fishing to volleyball - it has it all.
Linh Ung Pagoda is a Buddhist site sitting on a mountain known as Son Tra Peninsula. One word to best describe this site is stunning. Everything from the intricate dragon-decorated pillars to the vibrant green garden.
Marble Mountain is a group of five marble and limestone peaks named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuỷ (water), Mộc (wood), Hoả (fire) and Thổ (earth). Besides its obvious external natural charm, the network of caves and tunnels attracts visitors far and wide.
HOI AN
An Bang Beach is a little relief only 12 minutes drive from the town centre. To achieve that holiday feel, head down to this lovely beach and explore the endless food and drink options.
Hoi An Market is relatively small compared to most of South East Asia. However, unlike other markets, you don't feel like you will be squeezed to death. You can find items from sunglasses to street food to cute trinkets for very cheap.
DA LAT
Datanla New Alpine Coaster is a quirky and thrilling addition to viewing Datanla Waterfall. Unlike all other waterfalls, where you have to trek uphill and climb hundreds of steps, this is a unique experience to be able to see a waterfall.
Crazy House is a guesthouse/amusement building known for its bizarre structure, interweaving staircases and maze-like feel. Essentially, the house is a form of expression and creativity, specifically focusing on connecting people back to nature.
Truc Lam Monastery is one of Da Lat’s most famous sites offering an abundance of temples and stunning views across Tuyen Lam Lake. Nestled in a pine forest atop a mountain, this area invites you to relax, meditate and understand.
HO CHI MINH CITY
War Remnants Museum documents the war between The USA and Vietnam (Vietnam/America War). The museum is a three-storey building exhibiting documents and artefacts as well as collections of tanks and aircraft.
An hour and a half away from the city, the tunnels reveal the Vietnamese means of survival during the Vietnam/American War (and the French invasion in 1945). The tunnels are now seen as a sophisticated underground network and a fascinating survival method.
Ho Chi Minh City's Book Street is a cute, quaint lane full of book stalls and cafes. Despite being very short, the lane provides relief from the manic city and allows you to slow down. Most books are Vietnamese, but you can find a handful of English books.
